NEW: Dry Remedy Range by Aveda
Aveda have launched a range of new products for dry hair, available from August 2008. The new Dry Remedy range includes Moisturising Shampoos, Moisturising Conditioners and a Moisturising Treatment Masque.

The Dry Remedy Range consists of a deep moisturising blend of oils and plant extracts. Used on a daily basis, the mixture of jojoba, soybean, sunflower seed oil and meadowfoam oil will penetrate brittle, dry hair, leaving it instantly transformed without weighing the hair down. 95% is naturally derived from certified organic extracts.

Commitment to the environment

Aveda are market leaders in product research and development, ensuring that the products are as organic, natural and environmentally friendly as possible:

• 90% of the tonnage of essential oils Aveda purchase for use in manufacturing our products is certified organic or biodynamic. 89% of Aveda's raw herbal materials are also certfied organic.
• Complete traceability of certified organic ingredients, from the raw source to Aveda's finshed products.
• Shampoo bottles made with a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled content, are made from recycled milk bottles, and can be recycled after use.
• Over 2 million dollars raised by the Aveda netowrk in 2007 for Earth Month, going to clean water projects worldwide.
• One hundred percent of the electrical usage at Aveda's coporate office, distribution centre and primary manufacturing facility is now offset by its wind energy purchase.
